Acupuncture involves the insertion of extremely fine sterile needles into the body in order to influence energetic changes. As acupuncturists, we may also use palpation techniques including therapeutic massage, moxibustion, cupping, superficial tissue scraping (Gua Sha), electrical stimulation to the needles and provide dietary and lifestyle advice.

Homeopathy is a discipline that uses homeopathic medicines to treat disease. The medicines are made through a specific means of manufacturing and are minute dilutions. My role as a homeopath is to match your symptoms to those of the medication. The treatment is based on a very detailed interview, covering your mental, physical and emotional well-being. Expect to be asked about all aspects of life including eating and sleeping habits, fears, sexuality, even patterns of elimination. Once a medication has been prescribed you will report on the effects in follow up visits. Dosages are then adjusted and if symptoms change, so will the homeopathic prescription.
